A meeting outdoors. A lunch in the countryside. A “déjeuner sur l’herbe”. The feeling of contact with nature enters our spaces thanks to the intuition of promoting a lifestyle that steals from nature not only beauty but also purity. Living lichens show themselves protected under the transparent tops of this new series of square-shaped tables giving a modern take on a déjeuner sur l’herbe or a gathering on a lawn. The tables of the Déjeuner series do not limit, do not force, but become the stage for the gentle presence of lichens living on air humidity alone, without any intervention by man.

A natural presence to meet everyday, that enriches our spaces while suggesting an important message of respect and belonging. The family of tables with lichens extends into new tops which today offer even more shapes and sizes, following on from Clessidra, Tappo and More Light, already embellished by the presence of living lichens, reinforcing the idea they are based on within the habits of our contemporary society. To respond to an increasingly diverse range of needs, Déjeuner is also available in a basic version without  lichens, in order to be even more reinventable. The design and production aim at the lowest possible environmental impact, using recycled and recyclable materials associated with a concept of contamination that gives these furnishings a particular feel. According to the philosophy of the Giorgio Caporaso Ecodesign Collection they are separable, easy to disassemble, transformable, fixable and customizable. Made in cardboard, FSC wood, glass and lichens.
